Open Air Art in Australia

There is a new area of art becoming popular in Australia with many renowned artists involved - both Australian and International. With the intent of bringing tourists and some spending to rural and outback communities many wheat silos, water towers and water tanks have been used to show off scenes, people and animals and birds unique to Australia. Additionally some towns have adopted a policy of having many of their buildings and walls painted also.

With the intent of showing off this art here are a number of selections from different states. The vast majority of my collection of images currently are based in Victoria but as travel permits more will be added from other states from time to time. Latest additions are in the Northern Territory.
